WASHINGTON - When it comes to taxes, several states in our area are placing a lot of burdens on it's residents.
The financial website WalletHub looked at property tax, income tax, sales tax, and other taxes when it comes to tax burdens states impose on their residents.
Ranking 11th highest was Kansas, while Iowa ranked 13th and Nebraska ranked 14th. As for Missouri, it ranked 39th. The state with the highest tax burden was New York state, while the state with the lowest tax burden was Alaska.
